Braces
Fixed metal or ceramic braces for straightening teeth and correcting the bite.
Fixed braces use brackets bonded to the teeth and a wire that applies gentle continuous force. They handle a wider range of movements than aligners, including significant bite correction, and they do not depend on the patient remembering to wear them.
Ceramic brackets are less visible than metal but are more prone to staining around the edges and can be more brittle.
